The food is good but the owner is very touchy when it comes to woman and our daughters. We’ve asked him to take a family picture but the focus lays again on our daughters and the rest of the family is half in the pictures. While I’m showing the owner that the floor is sticky and dirty and the tablet holder is too dirty to even touch, he just keeps buzzy being touchy with our daughters. Shaking hands okay, but an arm on their shoulders and wastes, and wanting to get a hug from them as we leave ! It’s very unprofessional and creepy. I have warned him and I’ll show him I’m good for my word if this happens again. I just can’t imagine he’s doing all this at the back of his own wife, Instead of being buzzy with young girls better clean your places especially the tablet holders because it seems to have Ebola on it. It’s so dirty and full of bacteria and germs that you can write your name in it. See the pictures of the colonies of bacteria on the tablet holders and think, your touching it and eating after you have touched it. We’ve checked several tablet holders on different tables and they’re all disgusting. The toilets are smelly and dirty as it seems there’s no one cleaning them during operational hours.

Great place for high quality sushi in a modern Japanese restaurant nestled in the corner of the historic Oude Markt in Enschede. We hadn’t booked - just thought we would go for a casual dinner after an afternoon concert at the Muziekcentrum and they were able to accommodate. Family favourites were the sashimi and the flamed nigiri - the salmon, tuna and sea bass which were amazing. The quality of fish here is incredibly high, so fresh. I loved the sashimi salad, my daughter loved the spare ribs and chicken, and my husband was rather partial to the Iberico pork! Turning to desserts, most people seemed to opt for fresh fruit and I would say that this might be a wise choice. The chocolate mousse and the tiramisu were definitely the weakest things on the menu. We have been here three times and will keep returning. Whilst it is not the cheapest restaurant, you can eat as much as you want, no one rushed us out the door and it’s the best place in town for sushi.

Even though we went on Christmas Eve, despite the crowd, they never compromised on quality and made us have a wonderful evening. The food is excellent, fresh, delicious, hygienic. We got the “all you can eat” concept. We ate everything we wanted for 2.5 hours, it has a wide variety of Japanese dishes, salads, desserts and sushi that we could not taste all of them. Non-alcoholic drinks were included in the concept price, alcohol drinks are extra. 50 Euros per person (this price was valid for Christmas Eve), Normally “All you can eat “concept is 39 Euros. We were very pleased with the food, the service, the smiling and helpful staff. I think it is great that they can provide such quality service and food on a Christmas Eve that was 100 out of 100. We came here for the holiday, and Blue Sakura is the number 1 restaurant here in terms of Japanese food, especially sushi. Thank you for everything 🙏We will be back

We chose the dinner buffet option and the food was not too bad for a buffet restaurant standard, but could have been better if the dessert part doesn't has a limit of 1 scoop of ice cream or other desserts per person.

There were two waiters serving the food. The young one was nice and the other one is the typical 'asian waiter that's mean to Asian customers but nice to caucasian customers', with the impressive record of ignoring my thanks all the way (more than 5 times) by turning his hips towards us once finished placing the plate with the cold face. Meanwhile, with the other two tables' caucasian people the old asian waiter was super nice, kept his smiley face on all the time, checking whether the food was alright and trying his best to have a proper conversation.

So if you wanna experience the racial discrimination, namely inner Asian hate, this will be a perfect place to go.

P.S. We finished all the food we ordered, when we left we noticed that the other table was left with whole table of food waste. Not sure if the racist waiter can still keep on that smiley face when...
