Moeke Enschede — Restaurant in Enschede

The food was okay and filling (although a bit dry burgers) and the atmosphere/decoration is nice but.. We waited around 45 min until we got our food. They forgot our cutlery and didn't bring until we reminded them. There is a chaos and loud music all the time. Running and jumping waiters...Yes, one waiter jumped from the stairs while making some extra noise and chaos. When we tried to pay for our dinner via card, the machine was not working. The table we sat was next to door and the door kept opened and closed, and we were not comfortable with all this traffic and cold all the time. If you don't have a space for another table, you just don't have it, don't try to fit another table and make it uncomfortable. Last but not least, we paid around 18 Euro per burger. This is crazy, almost 100 Euro for a dinner for 4 people. We could go to a finedining restaurant for a little bit above this price. Well, 2 stars 🌟 🌟 for Moeke for decent food but not planning to visit any time soon, we only went there just because our favorite places...

We were at the restaurant around 14:00 in saturday and it was pretty full with people. Luckily we could able to have table at 2.floor.

We ordered "Steak bread" and "Way too big Schnitzel" for our lunch. The gravy from steak had kinda weak taste, i need to put more salt and pepper in it. But still i felt butter go better with the steak. I called for medium rare and it was juicy, perfect! The breads also good. Schnitzel was definitely giant and could be wrapped up to bring home for dinner :D It tasted super fluffy, crunchy from outside and tender inside. The sauce, i think it's better to go with sea food. I might order pepper sauce for next time.

About drink : we took "Spaanse Koffie" and " Moeke's Kletskoffie". It went with 2 different cookies aside, both was very tasty. The Spaanse u could taste more alcohol in it and was strong for your tummy if u haven't eaten anything. But anw, i love the drinks! Super!

So for 2 people is around 60€, including drink. I will come back to try the...

Service was good, food was also really nice. On the down side, music was a little bit too loud, it was also a weird playlist where at one moment you'll be listening to Queen, the following song would be Christina Aguilera, then Country, later on a ballad and so on.

I ordered the White Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert and it was really good, the main dish was also nice but the amount was not quite enough, at least not for me, before ordering I asked the waitress if the ribs were a big portion and she said yes so I ordered, but when they arrived I was a little bit disappointed with the recommendation.

To drink I had a Gin tonic and I can't complaint,...
