Burger King — Restaurant in Enschede

Der Burger King ist recht klein, und die Atmosphäre wirkt etwas seltsam. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass es dort sehr ungemütlich wird, sobald mehr Leute anwesend sind – besonders, da sich das Restaurant direkt am Bahnhof befindet.

Das Essen war wie gewohnt gut, allerdings war die Auswahl am Bestell-Terminal enttäuschend. Es gab kaum King-Menüs zur Auswahl und unabhängig davon, ob man ein Getränk oder ein Eis wollte, wurden ausschließlich Mehrwegbecher angeboten, die man zusätzlich kaufen musste, da keine anderen Becher vorhanden waren.

Einer von uns hat dann ein Getränk ohne Eis ausgewählt und trotzdem eins mit Eis bekommen. Außerdem befand sich ein kleines Insekt in der Fanta. Zwar wurde sich sofort dafür entschuldigt und das Getränk umgetauscht, aber das hat den Gesamteindruck trotzdem getrübt.

Fazit: Das Essen entsprach der gewohnten Burger-King-Qualität, doch die Atmosphäre, die eingeschränkte Auswahl und das Problem mit dem Getränk waren insgesamt nicht zufriedenstellend. The Burger King is quite small, and the atmosphere feels a bit odd. I can easily imagine it becoming very uncomfortable when there are more people inside, especially since it's located right at the train station.

The food itself was as good as always, but the selection at the self-order kiosk was disappointing. There were hardly any King Meals available, and regardless of whether you ordered a drink or ice cream, you were forced to buy a reusable cup because no other cups were available.

One of us selected a drink without ice but still received it with ice. To make matters worse, there was a small insect in the Fanta. The staff did apologize and immediately replaced the drink, but it still left a bad impression.

Overall: The food was the usual good Burger King quality, but the atmosphere, limited menu options, and the issue with the drink were...

One of the best Burger King experiences I’ve had in the past decade! 🍔 Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. The fries were freshly cooked and crispy — something you rarely find elsewhere. Even the drink was perfectly fizzy and refreshing.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Since I don’t speak Dutch, I had to communicate in English, and they immediately switched languages without hesitation or attitude. That really made me feel welcome — not something you always experience as a tourist in the Netherlands.

Good food, nice personnel and quick. Just as you would expect from Burger King.

This is my main place to go when I'm hungry after a long train travel back from my gf. A nice fact is they are open after midnight, which means you can always go there for a late snack.

Personnel actually thinks along with you, e.g. suggesting carrying bag when you have a lot to carry or estimating the time it might take when you are in a hurry catching...
