Ukraine Food — Restaurant in Groningen

We live in Barcelona, but during our visit to Groningen we discovered this Ukrainian restaurant – and honestly, we have never experienced service like this anywhere before. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was outstanding: the shuba (a traditional Ukrainian layered salad) was simply unforgettable, the borscht was full of flavor and felt like true comfort in a bowl. Every dish was prepared and presented at the highest level. The service was beyond exceptional – warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We sat outside and they brought us blankets to make sure we felt cozy and comfortable. On top of that, we were treated with homemade liqueurs and even received a beautiful gift set to take with us. This was not just a dinner – it was a truly unforgettable experience. We are still amazed by the hospitality and generosity. We will definitely come back again, and we will recommend this place to all our friends and everyone we know. The three amazing young women who served us – and who also run this business– were simply incredible. Their kindness, energy, and passion made the whole experience even more special.

We spent a very pleasant Friday evening at this restaurant. It was recommended to reserve a table, which we did, and it proved to be a good idea as the place was absolutely packed. We were four, which gave us a good opportunity to try various dishes - the borsch, the eggplant rolls, the pelmeny, the holubtsie and the vega-style deruny were all excellent choices (both in terms of taste and size) and the desserts (syrnyky and medovyk) put the cherry on the cake. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, the staff/hosts were extremely kind and attentive, so we are looking forward to coming again.

very tasty dishes ,If I could I would give it a Michelin star. Not all restaurants have such good service and such delicious food. if you want to know what Ukrainian hospitality means, then you need to come to this place .

I drove 2 hours from another city to have dinner at this restaurant and celebrate my birthday ,and I am very happy about it. Not all Ukrainians can eat the food of their grandmothers and mothers, in this place they prepare amazing food...
