Anjappar Hoofddorp - Chettinad South Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

I ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats and had the food delivered to my hotel. Overall, a decent experience.

The samosas were absolutely delicious – crispy and flavorful – and I also really enjoyed the baji. The Palak Paneer was also enjoyable. I didn’t like the Dosa – it just wasn’t for me and not something I’d order again.

Packaging was mostly aluminum foil and plastic pots, which I understand is common for take-out, but it’s not the most sustainable choice. Also, the sauces/chutneys that came with the meal were far too much for the portion sizes. I appreciate the variety and generosity, but the ratios felt off.

On the plus side, I liked the fact they had plenty of vegetarian options. They were also mentioned first on the menu, which made me feel good as being a vegetarian. I also liked that I could choose the spice level when ordering. I don’t like it too spicy, and they respected that, which I really appreciated!

Would consider ordering again, but would skip the Dosa and ask for fewer sauces...

All the starters both veg and non veg are very Delicious.The dosas were very crisp and fresh.The mutton biryani was simply outstanding. Service was quick, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. The staff were warm, attentive, and cared about our dining experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anjappar in Hoofddorp, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The food was exactly what I was looking for perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and absolutely authentic. Every bite was a delight, and I can confidently say it was one of the best-tasting meals I’ve ever had.

What impressed me just as much as the food was the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the restroom. It was spotless, fresh-smelling, and incredibly well-maintained – truly the nicest toilet I’ve ever used in a restaurant.
