GLORIOUS EVENING! The moment you walk into Cheval Blanc, you feel welcomed and are made perfectly comfortable. The whole evening was really just delightful from start to finish. The food is meticulously prepared, and all the little details that I look for in a Michelin Star restaurant were met with delight. A pleasant surprise to the evening involved our Host who I believe may have been named Ton- His knowledge of every dish was spectacular and he really knew how to work you through the food to such a degree that I wanted to ingest his very descriptions. Would be difficult to better this 1⭐️ Michelin restaurant in a quiet location near Haarlem in NL. The food was perfect, approachable (unlike some more fancy restaurants that aim to impress too much), really interesting flavours with lovely presentation. The staff spoke good English, and very willing to adapt the tasting menu to suit our tastes. The pairing wines were spot-on, everyone worked well and we could choose glass size each time to suit.
