Italia Caffe lunch en dinner — Restaurant in Heerenveen

First the athmosphere was lovely, the wine was delicious, then we waited 40 minutes for a pizza and a lasagna. The pizza was burnt from top and bottom AND the pasta in the lasagna was NOT COOKED. After the waiter told us that they will take the lasagna off the bill, another waitress walked up to us and started talking about “the different taste of people”. In the end my partner was arguing for 10 minutes to not to pay for the uncooked lasagna and they were trying to explain how they would go bankrupt if they would “remove everything from the bill that customers complain about”... i guess that means a lot of complaints in general. Great place, we came in just before opening cause we had evening plans... No problem at all, most friendly and helpful staff serving us delicious pizza. The amount of choice was stunning and took me a while to decide! I personally can recommend the Carbonara pizza!

One year later, The service is still great. Didn't make reservations but they had a table available. So I would recommend making a reservation in advance, place was full which I get. The pizza is really nice. Upt the food star to 5.

We organised at short notice my daughter’s 13th birthday party at this wonderful pizzeria/restaurant The Lady Chef/Owner could not have been more helpful and we had a fabulous time, so much do that a smaller group of us are heading back there tonight.

Prices are very reasonable, our servers were efficient and they were very pleasant to deal with.
