Ciao Mimi - Familierestaurant — Restaurant in Heerlen

This was the first restaurant besides the one in my hotel that I tried while in Brunssum for work and it boy did I walk into the right spot. The staff and food are top notch, but the Chef puts Ciao Mimi over the top. I just went in for a carryout pizza and they sat me by the oven while I waited. The Chef was having such a good time and I guess he saw me salivating over all the delicious food being made, so he started making a little extra of everything and giving it to me to try while I waited. He even had them bring me a gratis Limoncello, which is my favorite aperitif. I know tipping is not big in Europe, but I left a tip bigger than my actual check because I enjoyed it...

the best restaurant Heerlen has to offer, I think. spent a pleasant evening there. I was quite picky - was in a mood for a vegetarian tagliatelle dish - though the menu only had one with mushrooms. the servers and the chef were super nice about accommodating my requests and tailor made a dish! cannot emphasise how friendly they were. the food is also excellent - both in taste and value for money. 10/10...

Afgelopen week met 2 volwassen en een kind dit restaurant bezocht. Vriendelijk ontvangen met een amuse van de zaak. Goede kaart met Italiaanse gerechten. Na de amuse als voorgerecht de bruchetta en scampi in knoflook gegeten. Voor de onze kleine een heerlijk bordje pasta dat zelf kon worden samengesteld. Als hoofdgerecht genoten van pasta en pizza. Inclusief meerdere drankjes per persoon kwamen wij iets boven de 80 euro uit. De sfeer in de zaak was levendig, mede door het directe contact met de (open) keuken en bar. De sfeermuziek paste goed bij dit restaurant en gaf je het idee in Italië te zitten. Helaas werkte deze niet altijd vlekkeloos. De bediening was goed. Voor kinderen is er achter in de zaak een zaaltje met kinderspeelgoed. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten en genoten. Wij zouden deze zeker aanraden.
