Went with a group for high tea, at the final round we couldn't eat anymore so we asked for take away if possible, saw many people been offered that before us, they said ok but then 5 minutes later waitress comes says sorry but they threw them away by accident. No offer to replace what was pretty much a full platter of the last round and we were charged 2€ more than the price on the menu, per person! Not even a discount for throwing our food away. Plus for that money they didn't even serve everything that was included in the "royal" high tea as we never got prosecco. A pity because the place is nice and the atmosphere was fine, the food was nothing to write home about but decent, however what makes or breaks a place is the service and that was extremely poor... The person who paid in our group didn't bother to check the receipt so we only realized the overpayment at home... Add hoc drop in from us today 17/2/2024 at lunch time.. What a find , yes busy on market day but push though to the back as there are more tables under glass . Nice friendly hello from a senior looking member of the FH team. We took the end of the large table by the pass as a family got up.. Ordered drinks pretty sharpish , and once we had decided whst we were going to eat order was take fast. The pass was busy orders were following off it. Food arrived pretty fast I must say. Our little one had a ham & Kass omlett which she eat all up.. my smoked salmon/ cream cheese bagel was freash and yummy. My wife's order was good too and fresh bagel used as well. Family friendly , high chair available. Only down side as it was full inside and pretty tight lay out of table/ chair ,as we left new mother with kinder wagons can't get in as they asked a staff member serving the tables outside on the side walk. The food is always great and the service is always excellent. Highly recommended. They do have different menus for holidays, weekends, etc so your usual favorites may or may not be available when you visit. But we love coming here
