This delightful museum in Hoorn's historic town square may be small but is packed with many riches of Holland's 'Golden Age'. It contains the history - in models, paintings, furniture, ceramics, artefacts - of the VOC, the once-famed 16th-18th century Dutch trading company. It's well worth spending an hour or two and can easily fit into a day trip.
