Westfriesmuseum — Attraction in Hoorn

This delightful museum in Hoorn's historic town square may be small but is packed with many riches of Holland's 'Golden Age'. It contains the history - in models, paintings, furniture, ceramics, artefacts - of the VOC, the once-famed 16th-18th century Dutch trading company. It's well worth spending an hour or two and can easily fit into a day trip. Fantastic museum with a grand entrance l went to see the Rembrandt collection which was awesome and so well presented in a building that is quite beautiful and going through stages of sympathetic restoration.
