Locals Grand Café — Restaurant in Medemblik

A wonderful café-restaurant in the heart of the old town of Medemblik! The outstanding service, amazingly tasty food and the pleasant atmosphere make the place a preferred destination for more than an accidental visit. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday lazy afternoon, just a couple of minutes before the closing of the kitchen. Nevertheless, the staff reacted extremely professionally and prepared food for us. Thank you for this, guys! The sourdough bread is delicious and of high quality, the coffee in the cappuccino is very tasty and the spare ribs are unbelievably delicious. Very nice location, very good food and so friendly staff. We made a reservation for Christmas a few weeks in advance. Asked via Email if they can handle foodallergies and they said yes. The day we´ve been there for dinner was so much better thann we expected. They were absolutely prepared for all. The service was great and they served all in the way I´m allowed to eat it. We never expected that in a "normal-prized"-restaurant!!!! We are absolutely delighted with this restaurant and can recommend it without hesitation. Could hardly find any chicken in chicken sandwich 🙄. Got lot of mistake in our order (wrong juice, wrong water etc) although the place was far from crowded. We were advised not to order anything from usual menu, cos it takes long time. So, we ordered from Lunch, as advised. Imagine our surprise when our neighbors that came later got their REGULAR MENU orders earlier than us 🤦. Like, seriously? Overall, can't say it was bad food, but berely ok, so...
