Vesna Taverna — Restaurant in Netherlands

My wife & I are on n a 2 week Honeymoon on this beautiful island. Quite a few of our friends gave us some recommendations, Vesna Taverna being one. We went on a Monday morning for breakfast. Vesna took care of us that morning. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. (It was better than perfect). From smoothies to Bagel with Lox to chocolate croissant to coffee. Everything was delicious. We told Vesna we would be back Thursday night for dinner. Not only did Vesna save a spot for us to park, saved our table we had breakfast at a few days prior not even knowing we were coming to celebrate our Honeymoon dinner. Well, once she heard it was our honeymoon she was excited. For appetizers we had delicious burrata with the most delicious tomato’s, grilled octopus that melted in your mouth. For dinner I had filet mignon that I could cut with a fork, my wife had a delicious dish with 3 different kinds of fish in a white sauce with rice that was amazing. There are not enough good things to say about this restaurant… The owner Vesna is an absolute sweetheart and the most welcoming warm friendliest person. The food was out of this world from apps to entrees to desserts. The service was incredible and I felt right at home. The restaurant is a hybrid of French and Greek cuisines prepared by Vesna and her husband. The portions are large and the quality is A+. I’m not certain how often they have their Moussaka on the menu but if they do, it’s an absolute must (it was hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life).
