Over the many years we always made this restaurant a regular stop although missed last year when we visited.
It was owned and run by a husband and wife and they would chat with us on many occasions.
Sadly we heard the owner passed away and its under new management.
We found the new owner (who studied under the previous owner) capable, friendly and nice.
The food was also excellent.
We ordered chicken samosas (served with mint sauce)…normally tamarind would also be served. Very good.
Main course Tadka dal (excellent) and mutton karai (wish there were bones and more pieces of mutton) also good.
Here no rice is served with the main course so one has to order rice.
The lache paratha was excellent and so was the kulfi faluda.
Clean bathrooms. Inside AC outside seating also.
We plan to keep returning...
Read moreVegetable Samosa was really good. The butter chicken was delicious as well. I asked for mild spice level which was a too little, so don't be shy about spice level. The mango lasse was yummy as well. Service was good. The restaurant was upstairs with no elevator, so not WC accessible. It's right on airport road with an outside area (where we ate) and and indoor space. Outside was a bit noisy with loud car speakers, etc, so if you want a more intimate/quiet dinner, eat inside. Outside was nice and great airflow, so. we were happy. We'll go back when we return...

I live in Toronto area where we have are fortunate to have access to many Indian restaurants, amongst other cuisines. I didn't expect the food to taste so fresh, even though some of the ingredients are likely imported.
It did start off a little slow with service but caught up and were attentive, which I believe was due to our dinner hosts. Overall,...
