I was there this morning with a female friend. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the female staff member was very polite — she definitely deserves 5 stars. However, during our conversation, a male waiter came over and asked if we wanted food, and his tone felt quite intrusive and inappropriate. Because of that, I’m giving him 1 star. That brings my overall rating to 3 stars. If you're planning to stay for a while, be aware that you might be approached in a way that feels uncomfortable. Not recommended for long visits.
Edit: Adding this comment after the business’s response.
Thank you for your response, but I must say that your tone comes across as quite defensive and patronizing. (Most likely, the person who came over to us was not a waiter, but you, the owner.) It’s genuinely surprising that you felt the need to question the fact that I was having tea for about an hour around lunchtime. There were a few customers in the café at the time. Therefore, having the presence of extre people actually made the place look lively and welcoming. For most businesses, that kind of atmosphere is considered a positive marketing asset. In situations like this, approaching the customer with empathy and expressing genuine regret if they felt uncomfortable would have been a much more constructive response. If you'd like, I’d be happy to offer you free consultancy on how to handle such feedback more effectively in terms of marketing and customer experience. Frankly, after the experience I had, even the 3-star rating might have been...

When I asked, the answer was "no" (which I fully understand because sometimes it is against the policy). However, what really triggered me was the treatment I received afterwards. A girl with an orange shirt (I believe she was the manager) told me (and I quote word by word) : these are the kind of privileges you miss from not leaving the door shut. I was totally respectful at all times and simply forgot to. I found this answer out of place and humiliating as there was more people around me. None of my friends or me are coming to the...

When ordering it turned out they did not have the gluten free bagel (last Sunday). We said that we would have to check the other options. When trying to order they said they also did not have the oathie bagel, nor the prana bagel, which are low in gluten/wheat. They could have said so immediately.
We also had to sit next to dirty dishes for 10 minutes. Even when someone came to take our order...
