Brasserie ’t Zotte Lemke — Restaurant in Nijmegen

What a gorgeous spot! My first visit was just perfect, the atmosphere, the food, the staff - everything was just lovely.

Can’t remember having this much beef for a single meal but I have zero regrets. We had carpaccio to start - with a bunch of toppings. The beef itself was so good I wished there was less on top cause it was pretty distracting but the whole thing tasted great anyway.

We had two different cuts of beef to share, both were extremely tasty. Our medium rare was on the rare side but again - no complaints, it tasted incredible. They both came with simple sides of veggies and some fries. I asked for some mustard for my fries (don’t hate until you try it) and was given one of the best mustards I’ve ever tried.

The staff were so lovely and simply hilarious, I’d go back for the laughs. It added to the great experience.

Can’t recommend it enough, I want to be back as soon...

As a die hard romantic, I crave restaurants that bring love alive. I’ve eaten at ‘t Zotte Lemke so many times I’ve lost count and they have never failed me. Their menu, wine list and chef are world class, but even that cannot live up to the ambience and the hospitality provided by the team and venue, unmatched by any other restaurant in the city… or any city. I will travel the world to eat here and never...

Such a wonderful evening. Food delicious, location gorgeous - so atmospheric and cosy, and the staff are just brilliant. The lovely guy looking after our area of the restaurant (the mezzanine) was brilliant - friendly, efficient and such a great host. He made us feel so welcome. When we visit Nijmegen again, we'll definitely be back for...
