La Saigon Streetfood 🇻🇳 — Restaurant in Nijmegen

This restaurant offers some of the tastiest and best bang-for-buck phos I have had in the Netherlands! Good noodle texture? Check. A savory broth that is not overly salty? Double check. Huge portions of meat and veggies in the dish? Triple check! If you don't believe me, you have to pay La Saigon Streetfood a visit! I am almost certain that you will end up with the same conclusions as I did!

Moreover, the staff that I had the pleasure of interacting with were some of the loveliest and most attentive staff that I have encountered in the Netherlands! They always talked to their customers with a ready smile and a cheery demeanor.

I just had an amazing experience at this place! Had the loveliest bowl of beef pho to warm me up in the cold Nijmegen night together with the sweetest vietnamese lemonade.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming without being overwhelming, you could see that they were really grateful of having clients, definitely refreshing in The Netherlands, where the hospitality is usually quite poor. The girl taking my orders was just the sweetest and politest ever.

De mango salade met garnalen en kip is lekker net als de Vietnamese limonade! De loempia's waren niet mijn ding maar dat is smaak. Vriendelijke bediening, super leuk restaurant. Twee dagen later weer geweest en mijn vriendin meegesleept. (laatste foto met alles erop) Wat een teleurstelling!!! Dit keer weer de mangosalade besteld en de Vietnamese limonade, met wat side dinges. In de salade zaten Twee garnalen die door midden gesneden waren, waarvan een stuk alleen een kleine helft van de staart was. Ook waren ze te gaar en droog. Er zaten zes stukjes kip in. Met stukjes bedoel ik stukjes. Wij hebben dit aangegeven en laten zien. We kregen een vage uitleg over het ligt aan de hoeveelheid, maar je merkte dat het hun ook niet interesseerde. Alle gefrituurde gerechten vonden wij smaakloos, je proefde de deeg en dat was het. Of er kip, pork/kip inzat of vegetarisch. Je kon het niet verschil proeven. Zelfs de rijstrol was een beetje droog.
