Vief — Restaurant in Nijmegen

Chose this restaurant for the last night’s dinner in the Netherlands and it definitely made the night very special!

Was offered a blanket upon being seated without asking, it was rather cold out and it didn’t even cross my mind to ask for it but it was greatly appreciated.

After a warm welcome and a brief introduction of the host and the coworkers, we got a great help and suggestions regarding the dishes. We ordered a seasonal zucchini soup, chicken and pasta followed by the desserts, cheesecake and chef’s choice which was a gingerbread-ice cream. Main dishes were served with 4 small dishes of French fries, potato wedges, fried vegetables and salad. I thought at first that we were supposed to choose one of them as a side dish but no, you get all of them, and all of them were not your average whatever side dish, but actually tasty, all of them.

We were very pleased with the food presentations and the taste, as well as pricing. What stood out though was the extraordinary, professional service offered by the host. It was like a breeze of fresh air and made a deep, positive impression on us of the visit. If you are looking to have personal, pleasant evening filled with positive energy, I’d suggest you try this place!

We recently went out to Vief for a business dinner. As the person who organised it, I was a bit nervous due to the fact we have some people with strict dietary restrictions. From the getgo, however, the people at Vief were very understanding and cooperative. Once we got there, our waiters did their absolute best to ensure the people with dietary restrictions had a pleasant experience.
