On 17-11-2024 we were riding a challenging footbike tour from 's-Gravezande to Zandvoort and back, some 113 kilometers. It was chilly weather with heavy winds and rain, foam heads at sea. While entering Noorwijk, we were hit by a severe hailstorm. Luckily there was Restaurant 't Zeepaardje where the owner saw us suffering from the heavy weather and invites us in with 4 Footbikes and 1 mountainbike. "No worries about any dirt, you are welcome !". Most friendly welcome ever, great food and service, highly recommended !

Arrived with a big group on Thursday evening. Were invited in and some of the group were stupid enough to fall for that. Inside the place was completely empty, some DJ was playing his own and they activated some crappy smoke machine. As we just wanted to talk and have some drinks this was utterly terrible. Eventually it started to fill up with local youth so assume it's popular with them. They also tried to give us free drinks which is nice. Seems like an ok place if you know the audience (not us!).

We bestelde nacho's. Dat was letterlijk een bak nacho's met plakjes kaas erover (wel even zoeken) en 2 sausjes ernaast. Totaal niks bijzonders en voor wat je er voor betaald, bijna schandalig. De service is wel goed, ze waren vriendelijk en zagen dat we een hondje hadden een kwamen ook direct met een bakje water voor haar.

last Saturday we went there with three people, after asking me for my I'd security man told that we cannot go inside. I ask him why and he told me because of my nationality. So I think I don't have to tell more . Regards...
