Splendid restaurant. I was having dinner in here because I was staying at the Alexander Hotel. The restaurant is at the groundfloor of the Hotel.

Similar to the Hotel itself, the Dylans restaurant not only looks like a high-end dine-in, but also manages to surprise you with delicious cocktails, and exquisite food arrangements. Decent prices for the quantity of quality you get at Dylans.

If you are looking to charm your partner with a warm atmosphere, fancy interior-design, and competent service, I can totally suggest Dylans.

We had the bread and Filet-Américain, which was a good starter. The bread was taken out of the oven seconds before being served. The filet creme came as a duo of two different ways to prepare it, original filet-americain, and a more creamy version of it.

We had the Dylans Steak Medium Cooked (perfectly, softer meat and tender) and the Plumba Iberico Steak Medium/Rare Cooked (Came perfectly Medium/Rare, light smokey sauce, great veggie sides on the plate).

I can only recommend the meat(s) which both were delicious.

To share as sides we ordered:

a portion of (french) fries: -high quality, maybe home-made fries, -excellent crisp -very tasty

a portion of (white) aspargus: -perfectly cooked -great seasoning

a portion of baby spinach: -perfectly seasoned -crunchy leaves

After dinner, there was still space for dessert, my partner had the crème-brûlée (excellent) and I ordered a „Espresso-Martini“, which is a wonderful cocktail, based on Martini and Coffee, shaken until slightly creamy, a première for me. Approved by some Italian guy.

The service, which in our case was Naim and Dimitri, was very friendly, multilingual, and tried all of their best to warmly serve us and make it a beautiful evening.

We didn‘t have to wait much time to get our food. They were very reactive because we were a little late.

If you are looking to have an exquisite dinner, and then go for a late-night-walk on the beach, you are only 2 minutes away by foot.

If you are guests at the hotel, and you have breakfast included,prepare for a great breakfast!

Parking is easy at Dylans! They have offer free private parking in the front and back of the hotel. We started at the bar with some drinks and snacks, nice. Bartender was really friendly and took great care of us. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice; enough space to enjoy private conversations with a little buzz from the other tables. The restaurant has good lighting. The menu is large enough. They don’t offer menu’s so they also don’t offer a wine pairing. But we did get good advice about the wines. The food was tastefull but portions quite small. We enjoyed the dinner and our evening. Prices were a bit too much in my opinion; we spent around € 125 per person of a bit over. Of portions are a bit bigger this would justify prices and a higher rating....
