Steakout Aruba — Restaurant in Oranjestad (city)

This restaurant was in the condo complex we were staying during our trip. We ordered some food for lunch by the pool and they were very accommodating. They brought our burger and salad straight to our loungers. It took quite awhile for relatively simple dishes (burger and fries and a steak salad) but it seemed they were short staffed since it was early. The burger was surprisingly good. Like really good. And it was hot and fresh along with the fries. The salad was also really tasty though be warned it’s not the kind of steak you would expect in a salad. It’s kind of a gyro like steak. But it was still really good. Some days the place would be fairly busy with people eating outside on the terrace which seemed very nice. One night they even had karaoke. I don’t think I would come here if I wasn’t staying at the Harbour House, but if I was, or maybe even staying across the street, I would definitely come here for nice, moderately priced lunch and...

Garlic Parmesan chicken wings were very good! The shrimp salad was alright. The krabby bread was interesting. It’s like a pizza flatbread with lump crab on top. The description didn’t say it had tomato sauce base which threw me off when I bit into it but it was still pretty good. Never ate something like that before. I would definitely come here again. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we had to fight off flies the whole time while trying to eat. This place should invest in something to deter the flies. Jose and his crew are absolutely amazing. Best mixed drinks by Jose- he will customize your preference! If you're staying at Harbour house they deliver to your room! Great food and reasonable prices! I want to come back just to hang out with the staff! They also make awesome recommendations for what to do in Aruba and who to go through. Super helpful for first time Aruba travelers!
