I recently stayed at the Harbour House in Oranjestad and wanted to share my experience. The Harbour House is fairly clean and boasts a good location in the city. The staff is wonderful, especially those at The Steakout, the restaurant within the hotel. They were always friendly and attentive, making dining a pleasure.

My accommodation was an Airbnb owned by one of the condo owners. The room was fairly nice and provided a comfortable stay. The security at the Harbour House is generally on top of their game. However, an extremely scary incident occurred during our stay, which unfortunately put a huge damper on our trip.

On the night of July 12, 2024, a large party was happening across the street at The Venue. My husband and I were watching the festivities from our room throughout the night. Around 11:00 PM, there was a knock at our door. My husband opened the door, and a man dressed in all black started to step inside our room. There are no peepholes to see who is on the other side of the door, which made the situation even more alarming. Fortunately, my husband had a steak knife on our bedside table just in case, and he used it to deter the man from coming any further. My husband yelled at him to get away, and the man fled down the hallway.

We immediately went downstairs to alert the security guard about the incident and decided to investigate why this man had chosen our room. Despite all doors and elevators requiring a code, we discovered the door to the stairwell was left completely open. About an hour later, the security guard informed us that the man was part of the maintenance staff and was checking on room 403. However, our room was not 403. The security guard claimed to have witnessed the interaction unfold on camera, yet we were never able to locate any cameras that would be directed in the vicinity.

This incident was extremely unsettling and overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. While the Harbour House has many positives, the lack of proper security measures and the handling of this situation were...

To say this place is exceptional might be an understatement. “Solitude.n.Aruba!” at Harbour House, exceeded our expectations in every way and made our trip truly memorable.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Oranjestad. Each morning began with breathtaking sunrises through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning views of the harbor. The condo complex has an on-site bar and restaurant, which looked great and very convenient, though we chose to explore the many amazing restaurants just a short walk away. The property is also close to shops and even a casino—we walked through out of curiosity, but we’re not gamblers and didn’t partake.

The condo itself feels brand new and immaculately maintained. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The unit includes a patio with a grill, two beach chairs, pool towels, chair clips for breezy beach days, a washer and dryer, and reliable Wi-Fi. The well-equipped kitchen has all the essentials—cookware, utensils, a coffee maker, and more—so it’s easy to prepare meals if you wish. Their hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. The Harbour House staff was super-friendly and professional as well!

On top of that, the rooftop gym, hot tub, and spa were a fantastic bonus—perfect places to relax in the evenings while watching the stars over Aruba.

Communication was flawless. From the moment we booked, we received clear instructions on how to access the condo and excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and even where to shop for groceries. Everything was seamless and stress-free.

One tip for future guests: we highly recommend renting a car. It’s far less expensive than in the States, driving around the island is easy, and it makes exploring Aruba much more convenient. There are no Ubers, and taxis can be hard to find.

We had a fabulous week at “Solitude.n.Aruba!” and already know that when we return to Aruba, this is the only place we’ll stay....

The Blue Residences Indigo tower suite 415 was nothing short of spectacular! It is exactly as advertised, super clean, modern, calming oven decor which well suited the space. Kitchen was well stocked with mostly anything you needed to cook in. Washer and dryer, a cooler for the beach, a few chairs- fantastic.Loved the balcony off of the master bedroom and equal access from the living room. Great seating spaces and couches, chairs and table. Great place to read, dine or watch the world go by. Bedrooms and ensuites were perfect and the beds very comfortable. Loved the half bunk bed and double beds in the second room- easily hosts 4 people. Ie. a family in that room if you were travelling with grandparents. Elevators were clean, always working and the stairs option to go up are open to each floor but enclosed in the side of the building. Appreciated the dedicated parking space and the gate security were great. The view was a 10/10!! Overlooking the gorgeous pools and meticulous grounds-hats off to the staff and grounds crew who quietly were on it every morning and made everything beautiful!! Eagle Beach is directly in your sight lines and you can watch the cruise ships far off come through at night and the boats through the day. Great beach walkway across the street- you really don’t have to leave the residence and could sit pool/ocean side all week!! Nice mix of couples and families, not noisy, and close to all amenities. The staff are excellent, professional and very helpful. The only hard part about staying here is you wished you booked two weeks instead of one! Thank you for a wonderful first time impression in Aruba with such a fantastic suite!! Definitely...

If you are reading this review, you are most likely thinking about renting one of these condos on Airbnb or other booking websites for your vacation. Having resided in harbour house for two weeks in two different units, I think that I can give you some info that will help you decide if this place is right for you. I will not go too much into their amenities as those are clearly listed on the website. I will mention that a bar is on the pricey side, where a drink was about $15. The bar doesn't sell food and it doesn't have a menu at all. The rental price of a 2bdr condo for the most expensive week of the year was $2600, therefore, you should be paying equally or less than that. You will need a car to go to the beach and an “Americanized” grocery store. Otherwise, you will find everything else within a walking distance. Sure you can walk 30 minutes to surfside beach or to the Chinese grocery store which is nearby but car rentals are inexpensive and a great way to explore this island. Having been to two different units, I can say that bed mattresses are the same and on the firm side. Bedding sheets at both locations felt on a cheaper side, though not sure if that is owner’s or condo’s furnishings. The two people that were attentive, nice and helpful were Nadia at guest relations and Diego, a security officer who is just a good human being. It was fun waking up every morning and finding a new building docked next to the condo. There is just something romantic watching cruise ships depart from a hot tub on a roof of the building. I will miss the place and hopefully I find my path back to Aruba in a near future.

Looking for a peaceful and perfect place to stay while in Aruba, this is the place. I informed King Lemonade that I wanted Aruba as my birthday destination, and he did not disappoint. He was in contact with the owner from start to finish. The security was there to greet and assist us upon checking in, and once we were done with the check-in, we had to walk around and take in all the beauty of the building. 514 was our home for the weekend, and it was everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the layout and decor was very bright and welcoming. Coming back to Harbour House is a no-brainer for us when we do return. Very friendly and fun memories made for my birthday. Thank you 😊 @according2teau 👽🦄
