Perfect Coffee & Latte Art workshop today!!😍🌻💜 A huge thanks to the sweetest baristas ever, mr. Lennart and mrs. Nienke. ☕💕

Workshop: My boyfriend and I love coffee. So I was looking for a perfect Christmas gift for him. After looking online for a long time I finally found this one. It was €50 each for 2 to 2,5 hour workshop. When we arrived we were welcome by two super enthusiastic coffee experts. Our tables had many delicious treats and everything was super beautiful organized. We learned sooooo much today!! Waw! Many fun facts about coffee. The workshop was divided in two parts. The first one was the theoretical part en the second one was the actual practice of making your own espresso, cappuccino and you little heart! In the pictures you can see our first tries. We actually did it!!! Super happy!!! 😍😍☕☕💜

Baristas: Lennart and Nienke are super super sweet, kind, enthusiastic, professionals and patient. They answered all of pur questions. We did not feel rushed at any time and received super many good tips for us to reach our goals. They know soooo much! The owner is very very lucky two have them both! They truly work with love and dedication. Thank you so much for this experience!!! 💗

Location: A perfect location in the middle of the city. Reachable by metro and tram, just right in front. From Rotterdam Centraal you can take metro D and metro E. Or the tram, i believe tram 23 and 25. During the workshop (Saturday) was perfectly quiet and it felt like a VIP workshop!!

Coffee and treats: The coffee is very unique!! Their cakes and lunch options are delicious. Their signature cookies are still in my mind 😍😍☕ At the end of the workshop we were allowed to take home a couple of treats.

Side story: While walking back home, my boyfriend shared how much fun he had. He immediately wanted to give this workshop as a gift for his friends who also loves coffee. We can't stop telling each other how fun this was. We were together with a sweet daughter and father, which we also found to be very fun and kind. My boyfriend came home and ordered all the necessary tools to make his own latte art at home. Oopsieeee... what have you done? 😅😅☕

Vandaag hier een barista workshop gedaan. Ik kreeg het cadeau dus had niet echt verwachtingen. We werden heel enthousiast ontvangen door Lenny en Dylan die al een gedekte tafel klaar hadden staan. We kregen direct een ontzettend goede kop koffie geserveerd, met keuze uit veel opties! Heerlijke verse croissants met jam, klein glaasje (plantaardige) yoghurt met fruit en granola en wat puntjes cheesecake stonden op tafel. Voor een deelnemer met zuivel intolerantie (croissant en cheesecake) werd direct een lekker alternatief geregeld. Ondertussen werd uitleg gegeven over typen koffiebonen, herkomst, manier van oogsten, branden en gingen verschillende boontjes rond. Toen volgde een proefrondje van verschillende espresso’s. Daarna les over hoeveelheid koffie, tampen, purgen, maalgraad, doorlooptijd, misverstanden bij bestellen (bijv een macchiato of een latte macchiato, groot verschil!!) en hoe je de perfecte melk schuimt voor cappuccino. Toen mochten we zelf koffie zetten en melk schuimen. Het is allemaal een hele wetenschap en kunst! Het laatste gedeelte was voor latte art, ja hoor, een hartje lukte uiteindelijk iedereen wel. Nice spot in the city to get a coffee to go or relax. No tables outside to smoke, but the place is beautiful.

The guys serving were kind of flat and not that friendly as people are in a Coffee/Breakfast shop yo start the day.
