Downlights of my evening here:

**Onion soup did not have any cheese on it and it was watery, not stevige uiensoep. It was cold, zero taste.

**The shrimp cocktail was more a mayonnaise fest then cocktail

**The main dishes were served without any salad or fries but only with two pre-packaged fried potato stick you would feed children which was also surprisingly served very cold

*The waiter does not have any suggestions or alternatives or options as the kitchen is out of food

When arrived at the restaurant they told us to move upstairs and then once upstairs they said we had to sit downstairs. when they started serving the starters we were kind of disappointed the onion soup was not oniony, I asked for extra bread but they told us the kitchen was out of bread.... Like okay?

Once they served the main course the meats we received were completely cold, with a side of fried potato sticks that you can buy at a local supermarket they were obviously heated twice (trice) and still served cold. When indicating that the food was cold and we were a bit disappointed because this is the second Christmas day and we were expecting something nice other then reheated potato fries, as they were advertising it as a full four of course menu she said she will pick it up with the kitchen and then she left and she never came back with any suggestions or improvements or options.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Take note, you need your smartphone and internet access to be able to order here. So if you're a tourist make sure you have access to the internet, because orders are taken by QR code. It's a really silly method in my opinion, and to make my point, our order was sent to the wrong table, so we had to order again. I appreciate going paperless, but it also feels a bit impersonal and the practically of using the technology needs work. I think that there should be the option to have a menu. My brother noticed that there was only one chef in the kitchen. It must have been very stressful for him as there were quite a few customers that evening. I ordered beef teriyaki and unfortunately it was bland and dry. Positives, as mentioned, is that it is a cozy place - beautifully decorated. One of the waitresses was friendly and apologetic about the mistake with the first order which wasn't her fault of course. Personally, I won't return, because my brother and Dad unfortunately didn't find their meal worth the...

Ik heb vooraf gezegd dat ik kwam met een Social Deal.

Eten is zeer betaalbaar. Uitgebreid menu ; vis (mosselen, vispotje etc) , kip spiesjes , spare ribs, burgers , vegetarisch. En deze gerechten heeft beetje salade en frietmandje.

Drank ook uitgebreid van soft drinks , verse sap (OJ), naar alcohol en cocktails.

Ook diversiteit in nagerechten.

Ik heb gekozen voor ; Brood met kruidenboter kleine baguette gedeeld / voor twee personen. 5 st. Calamaris, citroen en ravigotte saus Kipspies 2 st. met pindasaus.Ik had liever 3 gewild. Beetje salade en friet mand Grote glas met vanilleijs met Aardbeien saus

Mijn oudste zoon had besteld : 5 st calamaris met citroen en ravigotte saus Varkenshaas 2 st (beetje aan de kleine kant) met champignons saus en frietmand. Beetje gemengd rauwkost en saus Grote glas vanille ijs met chocolade saus.

Zitplaatsen Ruim voor twee of vier of meerdere mensen (die kreeg twee grote tafels Helaas door rare plaatsen zitten we wel hutje mutje op elkaars lip. Terwijl op andere plekken andere mensen wel ruim zitten. We zaten bij de ingang achter een grote muur. Hele avond geregend en gewaaid. Dus zaten achter de muur. Ook al zaten twee set deuren als vooringang. Wind kwam aanwaaien.

Ik ben niet naar de WC gegaan en kan daar niet over spreken.

Ik heb maar 1 klacht. Bij alle gerechten zit friet inbegrepen. Hoofdgerecht portie is aan de kleine kant. De rauwkost salade zat in een Amerikaanse iets wat grotere vouwbekertje (lastig eten). Maar hier komt het ; je moet betalen voor de saus voor je friet ; € 2,50 per papieren Amerikaanse mini vouwbekertje. In andere restaurants geven ze het gratis. Hier moet je € 2,50 betalen voor twee squirts. Dat vind ik wel armoe voor een kleine cupje.

Drank is iets aan de dure kant of je nu softdrink neemt, alcohol (bier of wijn) of cocktails.

Ik heb hier nog nooit gegeten. Mijn eerste keer en ook voor mijn oudste zoon.

We hebben een Social Deal 4 gangen diner voor twee personen. Ik heb € 14,95 per persoon betaald. Paar weken geleden is dezelfde voor Deal € 12,50 per persoon. Drank is niet inbegrepen, dat vind ik niet erg. Ik heb 16,50 euro betaald 1 Lipton ice, 2 Appelsap jes, 1 aardbeien cheesecake cocktail in een champagne glas geserveerd. Helaas smaakte het meer naar Aardbeien kwark.

Ik heb genoten van mijn eten. Mijn zoon ook. Het was zeker niet een hoogstandje. Nog geen Michelin restaurant. Op deze duurste locatie van Rotterdam vlakbij Belastingdienst Gerechts bank Gemeente Rotterdam en Hotel New York is hier eten heel erg betaalbaar ... als je een Social Deal hebt. Ik denk als hetzelfde had gegeten zonder de Social Deal dan was het 45 euro per persoon.

Nogmaals ik heb lekker gegeten en gedronken. Geen slechte dingen op aan te merken. Zelfs over de toilet kan ik en mijn zoon niet spreken, wij hoefden niet zonodig.

Er werd constant gevraagd of we genieten of we iets nodig hadden. Dat vond ik fijn want ik was wel dorstig. Ik vond het niet...
