This truly a disappointment for anyone who’s surinamese, if you’re white or have no experience with surinamese food you’ll definitely like this and I think the owners or whoever’s responsible for the food recipes knows exactly who their target market is. If you are Surinamese don’t waste your money there because it is even more expensive than actual Surinamese places and way way bland. Their Bara is the most distasteful we’ve had, there’s no soul in the food. To be honest it feels like just owners who are slaves to the hustle and care only about how to make money using other people’s culture without paying no mind to the quality or actual recipes! Dry and sad food, only go there if you’re depressed and got a couple euros you don’t know...

I ordered 2 meals from here when I was feeling ‘under the weather’ and couldn’t leave my apartment: saoto soup and the mixed meat Nasi. I must say I enjoy saoto soup wasn’t bad just not my favorite. The Nasi was nice but also not my all time favorite either. I was not a fan of how they prepare their yellow pepper sauce - everywhere makes these slightly different and this one just didn’t vibe with me. Everything was packaged nicely and arrived safely. Decent all around but I’m not sure id order again...

Vernederlands Surinaams eten. Personeel is wel aardig en behulpzaam het eten is voor een echte Surinamer flauw en niet echt maar voor Nederlanders die geen verstand hebben is het wel ok. Niets wordt vers gemaakt en alles ligt in de vitrine aan de Kruiskade bij Warung Mini, Afoe Baka en Kiem Foe worden de meeste dingen vers gemaakt zoals nasi en tjaumin waarom omdat het snel klaar is. Enkel het beleg van de broodjes ligt daar ook in de vitrine maar wordt steeds vers bijgemaakt. Bij Chinny,s ligt alles inspiratieloos al klaar en opwarmen.
