HITZ Rotterdam — Restaurant in Rotterdam

The reason I am putting one star is due to a problem with a staff member in particular that ruined my experience at the restaurant. At the time, the staff member was supervising the girl's line for the restroom. I was waiting in the line and she asked me to hold her glass so she would be able to pee. I did so. When she came back, according to her I was apparently holding it wrong and she started screaming at me and threatening me too kick me out of the bar (for a glass). Then, when I went a second time in the line, I was a witness of another of her screaming. I was talking to a girl in front of me in the queue and we saw the staff member passing by everyone to go in front of the queue. At this moment, a lot of people exchanged looks asking themselves why was she passing in front of everyone. A girl in front of us then asked the staff member why she had priority over everybody (she didn't know she was a staff member as everybody else in the queue). At this moment, the staff member started screaming at the girl saying that she could do everything that she wanted and ALSO threatened her to kick her out of the bar. Then she went to the bathroom and when she came out she made a scene inventing things that the girl apparently said. This experience really shocked me because the girl's restrooms is supposed to be a safe place. However in this case it was the total opposite since every time I went to the restroom the staff member was screaming and threatening people. I really hope that she does not have the power to kick people out for no reason because everybody paid for the restaurant and did not deserve to get treated...

Disorganized mess. Had to wait way too long to get in even though we have already bought tickets online. There was only one person to scan your online tickets and no one else. They did not even check for our covid results. When we warned this lady about the inhumane situation to enter, she just said that she was not outside. I expected like sorry for the inconvenience caused or something. You can see in my attached pictures how the situation was to enter. People were pushing to enter because it was going slow. A guy next to me was already 2 hours in the “line” to enter. You pay for the toilets but they were downright rancid! Hygiene is especially important now after corona. Improvement point: I mean if you know how many people will attend the party based on the online tickets just hire more people at the door or just make 2 lines for the ones with and without tickets. People pay for the toilets, just checkup and do a small clean up...

Worst Experience Ever, Staff was drunk

I was on top of the bar, like everyone and I got a sparky candle from the bar and a girl attending the bar grabbed my leg making me put it back, very rudely and she was making me come down. This girl attending the bar was clearly drunk and only wanted problems. As far as I’m concerned employees shouldn’t be drunk in working hours. I asked the people attending the bar for the name of the girl and they didn’t want to tell me it so I took a photo of her . In the second picture of a guy, an employee that laughed at my face when I asked him the name of the employee that touched my leg in order to make a complain. I do not know their names but they were very rude, I will not come again to this place or recommend it to anyone. I also complained to a security guy and he didn’t want to tell me her name either.
