SQUARE's: Detroit-Style Pizza — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Ever since it opened up I wanted to try this Detroit style pizza and I finally had the chance to.

They currently have 3 options. Margeritha, pepperoni and one with artichokes. We both had the pepperoni and it was not only served quick but at the right temperature to dig it.

The edges are all covered in grilled cheese and they are not shy when it comes to the amount of pepperoni the pizza was topped with. The dough was nice and soft on the inside and crispy around the edges. What a delight! They serve their pizza’s with an extra dip of tomato sauce which add a fresh touch to the pieces.

Now don’t let you eyes deceive you, these deep dish pizzas fill you up. However, no worries for the small eaters as you can take the leftovers home in a small takeout box.

They had the option to add a “spicy honey” dip and I would definitely give this a go in the future as the taste did get a little repetitive halfway through. However that’s also what you sign up for if you get a pepperoni pizza.
