The Indian Chef — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I recently ordered from this restaurant (Indian Chef) for home delivery, and it was an extremely disappointing experience.

We had ordered for Chicken tikka masala and in delivery box what we received was chicken vindaloo. Post that we tried calling the restaurant to check if there was any mistake or misunderstanding in this order. And to no surpise, even after several repetitive calls, there wasnt any response or attention to our calls.

Another shocking surprise was when we open the food carton, it gave an extremely stale and had a distinctly unpleasant odor. It was clear that the food was not fresh and had possibly been cooked and kept for more than 24hours. The taste was awful and completely inedible. I had to throw most of it away.

Delivery Service: The delivery service was also subpar. The food arrived much later than the estimated delivery time, and the packaging was poorly done, leading to spills and a mess when I opened it.

Overall, the combination of stale, stinky food and poor delivery service made for a very negative experience. I would strongly advise against ordering from Indian Chef, if you value your time and money. Dal tadka - do you ever imagine chana dal in dal tadka? It smells like rotten and baasi Ordered lamb bhuna, I received chicken dish. I can't explain how bad it was. The most filthy dish I ever seen.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The food is amazing and the owners are really friendly.
