I love Schiedam and see it as having such a charming maritime-meets-Europe historical specialty. But food here is dumpy. It's not fair to the residents or to the wonderful location which is so rich and could dramatically win tourists who want to do gourmet here. Unfortunately the fries are dry and taste like it too.

Their suppliers use poor quality potatoes. The owner doesn't care because he is in a,prime and appealing location . It's,so wasteful. I hope someone comes and competes with better fries ! Maybe...
