Meneer Nilsson — Restaurant in Schouwen-Duiveland

Seldomly have I experienced such poor service at a restaurant. We arrived at approx 2pm. The table wasn't properly cleaned after the plates from the previous guests were cleared. After a few minutes, our drink and snack order was placed. We ordered one Coke Zero and one homemade lemonade. As a snack we ordered a snack plate with Bitterballs, Cheeseballs, etc.

Drinks came after about 10 minutes. The homemade lemonade was just sparkling water with lemon, cucumber and a wilted twig of mint. No ice (not expected) and the lemonade glas was only 3/4 full.

After about 45 minutes, we asked a waitress if it would take much longer with the food. She said it was coming soon. We saw a waitress walking aimlessly with our food, but she went back inside with the food. I guess she couldn't find our table?

We waited another 15 minutes and then decided to go inside, pay for our drinks and leave.

There were many empty tables, so there wasn't much going on. Staff was in the restaurant eating and hanging around.

MAIN COURSE: I ordered the Burger with gluten free Buns. First time the Burger patty was absolutely undercooked and the mince was raw inside. Not slightly pink, raw. The food was cleared and after some time I received a freshly made Burger again, this time the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. The side for the Burger was chips. Not fries, actual packaged chips. It was underwhelming and disappointing to say the least. What a cheap and lazy side.

Overall the main course wasn't worth the 16€ I paid for it, simply because they give you packaged chips.

DESERT: The gluten free chocomousse tarte and lemon tart was absolutely delicious. Wonderful.

ATMOSPHERE: The chairs were very uncomfortable and outstandingly hard. Not pleasant to sit on at all. Other than that the place was clean and the service was friendly...

Extremely unprofessional and not nice staff They forced me to leave my table after i had coffe , food , and water and was working and fully focused on my work in my laptop , claiming they want to accommodate 4 people , they moved me to a table that accommodate 2 people and they moved 2 people to my table ( completely doesn’t make any sense ) , very bad experience and I don’t advice anyone to go to this place , incident happened Friday 24 November...
