Restaurant Mia Pizza & Pastaria — Restaurant in Smallingerland

When we entered this more or less empty restaurant and were not allowed to sit where we want to. Instead we needed to sit nearby the door, which was opened quite frequently. This was already annoying and cold, but as we were hungry we stayed.

The menu card is not too big (that's a plus), but the dishes are in my opinion rather boring and nothing really I would personally choose in a restaurant.

We decided for Pizza, which was tasteful and freshly made.

While eating we noticed that the owner and cook left the restaurant at least 3 times to have a smoke. After he came back he never washed his hands. Instead he touched the cutlery to set up a new table or was busy in the open kitchen.

Ik was samen met m’n zus in Drachten en via Google hebben we een pizzeria opgezocht. Op basis van de goede reviews hier gereserveerd. Wat een leuk maar vooral lekker restaurantje! De tafel was mooi gedekt met linnen servetten, en echte kaars en mooi glaswerk. Alles glansde je tegemoet. De kaart is beperkt, maar biedt voldoende keuze en alles wordt vers voor je neus en met heel veel passie bereid. Toen we weg gingen rende de eigenaar achter z’n keukenblok vandaan om de deur voor ons open te zwaaien. Ik vind het een dikke aanrader! Paar kleine tips om de beleving nog beter te maken: van mij zou het best felle licht wel een beetje gedimd mogen worden zodat het wat sfeervoller oogt en als de eigenaar een koksjasje aan zou trekken in plaats van z’n fleecevest klopt het plaatje echt helemaal.
