The Hague does not have many authentic Vietnamese restaurants with an extended menu to fit everyones dietary taste. And if so, the service might not be present at all. VuVu beat this personal stereotype for this city and blew me over by the quality of food. But maybe the most important thing is that the person behind the counter to the effort to show me around the menu, provided pictures and made frequently sure that I was okay. A big time recommendation, I am surprised not more people were sitting there on a Friday night. This place deserves more love!

VuVu is an Asian mix between a Dutch 'snackbar' and a restaurant. When we looked on Google for a Vietnamese restaurant in The Hague VuVu came up as the third option. We made a reservation by phone and went there. Once we arrived we found VuVu to be more of an Asian mix between an in Holland so called snackbar and a restaurant. The food was served quickly by friendly people and you will not leave the place hungry. But don't expect anything too fancy.

So authentic and delicious! Small family owned business, the sweetest staff and true homemade Vietnamese dishes. I had Bun Cha Nem, so good!! The flavors just taste like home. 100% recommended ❤️🇻🇳
