I love the concept of eating in one place where each person can choose a different cuisine.
The place itself looks pretty cool! It's worth checking the interior for sure. Sadly, the music most of the time we were there was pretty bad, though..
My chicken crepioca (from Pedro's) was very good, even though it wasn't crusty (at all) as described in the menu. We were disappointed, though, about the "Mini cheese pastel", included in the "Brazilian bites": the pictures show 8 pieces, and nowhere it is mentioned they' will actually bring just 4 of them, for nearly 9 EUR ! That was certainly way overpriced! Also, one of them had a 2cm long piece of soft plastic within the pastry - I guess from cutting the cheese or the pastry itself? Regardless, I wouldn't recommend them because of the price for the 4 small pieces with (barely any) cheese filling.
The other dishes my family ordered were very good, too: Korean fried chicken, bami noodles..
We also had some refreshing drinks at the end that we all liked a lot!
So, all in all, it was a positive experience, minus the music and the...
Read moreLocated near Tilburg Train station. It's nice Food Hall with Variety of foods. A bit confused at first how to order and manage but with sign and explain how it work. First you should get your table, there will be QR code you can order from or You can order with staffs or just order with your phone. Each order you have to pay 40 cents fee so it's saver to combine all order at one. You will be serve at your table so it's very convinence. Many seats inside and you can sit anywhere no matter what do you eat, do not need to sit in front or nearby restaurant you order for. It's possible to sit outside, with some parasol has heater so made it nicer to sit in evening when it's getting chilled.
We order from Indonesian, Vietnamese and meat combo (not remember what restaurant) so any that ready that will be serve first so we get food not at the same time. Our meat combo is fine, 22 euro, bit pricy but ok. Our vietnamese beef bowl is ok, bit too dry rice.
Food were ok and not too expensive . So it's nice chill place with frinds or family that have many types of food...
Read moreThe food-hall is a nice concept; cool building, beautiful location and staff is young and nice enough.
However… The food is basic; Dutch renditions of international food, so everything is not as refined as it should be. For example: The sushi is too chunky, the tempura shrimp has a nice crispy coat, but way too thick and served with basic mayonaise.
I ordered a surf and turf plate at Miss Temaki’s which arrived after everyone else in my party had already finished their food. MT’s kitchen looked understaffed and the one guy in the kitchen was slow, we were told that orders of massive sharing plates held up smaller orders.
In all not the worst experience, it’s nice to have the option of ordering dishes from different countries. If you’re not too fussed about the authenticity of the foods, risk getting food served at different times and just want a fun experience with friends, this is a great place.
I’m just giving 2 stars because I was very hungry, the food came ridiculously late and I was not that impressed...
