Unfortunately sad experience:(
First off I would like to start with something good - the ambiance. Interior is very nice and open, with just enough spaces between tables. Dim lights and very cozy seating.
Some staff was very pleasant while other, not too much. Me and my partner took the option "mood experience" which is all you can eat option. The wait between (very small) meals was just too long. The price of 45€ euros per person is not even closely comparable to what we ate. We just didn’t have time to order because there was a wait of 30-40 min between such small portions which can’t be happening with all-you-can-eat options.
To put everything down even more, we got a visit at our table by the manager of the restaurant. First time she came, she asked us how everything was - to what we replied - "everything is alright". Then she continued by confronting us that she received a one star review which she thinks is ours. She then asked the same question 2 more times - and we repeatedly said it isn’t ours. She left us but came back 10 min after, with more accusations that the review indeed is ours, wanting reasons to "why we left that review and what’s wrong". Again, we said it isn’t ours. That conversation went too long and at that point, we felt abnormally attacked and very uncomfortable.
We left the restaurant confused, falsely attacked, and hungry:/
Edit after the reply; Such a professional and well-mannered comment from a well-experienced manager I see. It wasn’t enough that you made your guests uncomfortable in real life, now you mock and insult us through the comments. Very well. I honestly hope your future clientele will read how you treat guests. To correct you, I haven’t written that Mood is an all you can eat restaurant, I wrote that we took an all you can eat option (which was not to the standard, as well as the food you served) My humble advice, put all that negative energy and stalker activities into bettering your management, taste of the food you so proudly serve and most importantly google the word respect. I see it’s not something you possess in your vocabulary...
Read moreToday i went to Mood by Eveline Wu in Tilburg, located near the central railway station. The restaurant itself is Beautiful, its a huge place but still feels very cosy. Seats are comfortabel and the tables are find too. Staff is very friendly, and all have a very good appearance..
I choose to go for the Mood experience menu, and it was an experience. I can't compare any other AYCE diners with this place. The quality and presentation of food is unknown to any place i have been too.
I started off with the sashimi mix, a well done plate with beautifull and tasty fresh fish.
Second i went for the Mood roll, this one was absolutely delicious! What a festival in the mouth to fast this beautifull and tasty roll inside you're Mouth.. its definately freshly made.
Third the karaage chicken... Not really my dish, the crisp om the chicken was beautifull, but i really perfer some sort of bbq sauce / sour sauce with his instead of the creamy sause that was served. But thats just a taste difference.
Fourth, the Ribeye. Good quality piece of meat. Grilled well, nice sauce with it. Sauce was a bit to thin for my taste, but tasted well.
Fifth, Jeezzz im getting a full stomach now.. but its time for the Korean beef, tasty vegetables and a good sauce. Meat taste fine too... Served with some white rice. This dish is a little spicy, but i like it..
Just some room for the coquilles(Scallops), i liked the cauliflower structures. The coquilles(Scallops) were prepared much better than the previous time i went here. Before they tasted like rubber. Now they were prepared better, not perfect yet, but they were nice.
Desserts, the ice cream is good, the garden delight is a very nice desert which i believe almost every human being would like.
Last time we visited this place it was on a Saturday evening and it was completely filled! Now the quality overall was much better than before! I guess the weekend are just a little bit too busy to prepare difficult dishes like the...
Vervolgens kreeg ik één glas wijn and that's it. Mijn wijn was inmiddels lauw geworden.
