Strøming does the whole rooftop shared dining thing, which is probably fun if you like passing plates around all night. Personally, I’m not a big fan—it feels more like a social experiment than a dinner. The food was fine, but nothing that made me sit up straight. The concept leans very mainstream, very “let’s cater to the cool kids,” and I guess I still want a restaurant to surprise me—whether it’s with bold flavors, a quirky interior, or staff who leave an impression. We booked this restaurant mainly for its view, but they seated us at a blind table with no view at all. When we asked about it, the staff were unfriendly, inflexible, and showed no willingness to help. The customer service was poor, and their behavior was simply not acceptable. Eerste ervaring bij deze rooftopbar; Een leuk ingericht restaurant met een leuk shared dining concept. Het personeel is geweldig! Vriendelijk, behulpzaam en geven een fijne uitleg wat we kunnen verwachten. Vragen tussendoor of alles naar wens is en zijn betrokken; wat was het lekkerst tot nu toe? Petje af!

Het eten wat wij hadden viel daarentegen wat tegen voor ons. De vegan steak, die prijzig was, smaakte voor ons minder lekker. Ook de pad thai was wat saai, veel pasta. De krokante bloemkool was wel lekker op zich. Er wordt veel bewerkt eten gebruikt naar mijn idee, felgroene dressing en nepsteak. Ik hou meer van biologische en pure gerechten.

Toetje met speculaas en mandarijn was wel lekker en apart om eens te proberen.

Ik vraag me af of wij qua gerechten gewoon net verkeerd hebben gekozen of dat dit de algemene kwaliteit is.

Ik vond de tafeltjes ook vrij kort op elkaar staan en erg druk.

Aan de kapstok moeten ze echt iets bedenken. Wij waren er rond 18u en bij weggaan hing de dubbelgelaagde kapstok propvol, dus moesten we gaan vissen tussen alle jassen....
