Raw — Restaurant in Tilburg

Reply to the comment: I see, I was not aware that that was the issue - when I arrived at the location and asked them to keep my cake in the fridge I was not made aware that such regulations are in place here. Nor when I asked the waitress to bring the cake. I do understand that in both cases a misunderstanding might have taken place however no one said anything about not being allowed to consume your own cake when I asked for cutlery/plates for it either. Were I made aware that that was an issue, then I would have just packed my cake back up and left or paid an additional service fee without an issue as I do understand that different restaurants have their own rules. What I do not appreciate however is not being informed of that and then being the obvious subject of discussion between the staff.

Raw beef oelake is so tough. Food is no good and expensive, and the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever met. Totally not recommended and...

Vega burger was served wit a dried-out sauce, which means the burger was kept warm for a very long time. My tablemates had the same feeling: plates not freshly cooked and quite small servings. Then the reasonable prices suddenly look quite bad. Service is just ridiculously bad. Servants are basically not interested in their job and sometimes even tend to become agressive (?!). You end up feeling like ordering a drink is something you shouldn't have done... When I tried to discuss this with one of the waitresses, while I was still quite friendly and curious, she responded very defensive-offensive, saying my 'energy' was disturbing her. When I asked her what she meant by that, she in response accused me of being on drugs... Of course I was not on any drugs (but she might have been?), so I payed my tab, left the drink and half-eaten-food on the table and left... Needless to say, I do not advice you...

Friday evening in Tilburg! Easy parking right beside the station and thus entrance of RAW. Parking zone 2. We did make a reservation beforehand, which was necessary as it was quite busy. Nice and spacious table - always a plus. Waitress was very nice and took the time, also gave us time as we didnt want to rush straight into our dinner but first have a drink. Great beer choices and soft drinks.

Starter: shrimp cookies, oke but not very special Diner: beef oelek and beef gorgonzola, both very tasty and great portions!! Sides: fries, salad en bread. All good but a bit too much. Maybe to reduce waste ask if people prefer fries or bread. Dessert: mars chocolate mouse, wauw! Very soft but great in flavor!! Not too big...
