The Cat's Back — Restaurant in Tilburg

I’ll be honest, looking at the reviews and photos here on maps, I expected quite a fair culinary experience. Oh boy the pictures on here don’t do any justice to this place…

One bite into my beef burger and I was instantly thrown into a haven of taste and papillary satisfaction. It was like Mike Tyson came from the crowd and sucker punched me into my liver level of unexpectedness.

Everything was next level: I hate brioche buns but this is something else, fluffy and easy to squish in your hungry little hands. The meat, oh man I don’t know where they get that but it doesn’t taste legal. And everything topped off with delicious cheddar cheese (which you can also find on their fries, another masterpiece might I add).

Now, you might think think I’m crazy to spend this much time in a maps review, I do too! But this place had me in tears of joy my friends. I’m not even from Tilburg but I might have to move there just for this. Ok that’s it, just...

I came here early on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a session IPA and a breakfast sandwich (called a Breakfast Bun). The staff were very friendly and the environment was cozy, laid back, and rustic. The food was great and it was just what I was looking for. It had cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and a beef patty on a brioche bun. There was also a nice selection of hot sauces to try out. I’ll be definitely returning here to try out their other food. Recommend! 👍

Update: They have a great beer selection here. I found Green Flash’s West Coast IPA here, which I haven’t seen in Europe for a few years.

Update 2.0: I’m here all the time. The burgers, tacos, and chicken are the best in the city. Danny knows what’s up....

A funky little place with a cute theme and an amazing menu. We got the birria tacos which were 10/10, the go-nuts burger which was very good albeit a bit small, and the Nashville hot chicken burger which was super creamy, had fresh chicken and was actually quite spicy....
