Meneer Smakers — Restaurant in Utrecht

We have ordered take-away burgers here 2 times in the last half year. Both of the times we had to wait for ages for them to get our orders ready (just 2 burgers and some fries took literally more than 20minutes to prepare, while there were only 2 other guests in the restaurant). Both of the times the staff was just really un-organized and the kitchen was a mess and not clean, and both of the times our burgers where rather cold (we live just around the corner). I am sorry for the bad rating but while the expectations were high the result was very bad. I don't know if that's how it supposed to be but I got the worst brioche for my burger, what I mean ? It was dry like they let it out of the bag for 2 days...this combined with a not so special burger made it a bad experience . I haven't taste so bad brioche burger before. The menu is small and exciting and the food is super fresh. It's great to go here in the evening when it's warm and graba burger to take away with a beer or two and some friends. The staff are super nice and even one of them became a dear friend of mine :) This restaurant is about the food since the guys are real chefs and love their food and it's also about how convivial (Gezellig) it feels when you enter and are greated by the warm and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place not just as a restaurant, but as part of your regular places...
