The price is high, the Sangria very sweet. The food was okay-ish. The dates were creamy but the bacon unfortunately too. There were hints of chorizo in the chorizo sticks, the fries were good, the goat cheese too, as were the filled peppers. The chicken sticks might have contained some chicken but they were tasty. The ambience was nice, Spanish radio station, nice plates and a lot of Spanish folklore decorations. But ... the service was really disappointing. The menu was explained once, all-you-can-eat, à la carte or a sample of 5 tapas. One hour before the closing of the kitchen it would have been the same price for ayce and as we asked why (because in 1 hour we would for sure not order the same as others in 2,5 hours), the simple answer was: you could have come earlier... Well, yes... but no... but okay But the worst thing was that they (the stuff) made fun of a disabled person who had a visual impairment and needed additional light (in form of a torch, she brought by herself) on the table. I asked them to stop and they had of course an excuse. It felt very uncomfortable and embarrassing. That is rude and impolite and highly unprofessional. Therefore just one star, there is a lot of room for...
Read moreThe food was the only good point, even tough was not the best quality itself and quantity/price proportion. The staff was not pleasant. The all-you-can-eat option was suggested but immediatly with the condition to order all the food within 1 hour, after that the kitchen would close. It was not so late and considering it's summer season, this was quite bad moment - taking in account even this is a spanish-style restaurant, the kitchen opening times should be adjusted as this is not normal in Spanish restaurants. To make it a bit worst, the waiter even said we should had arrive earlier... On a closer table there was a disabled customer who needed and had a specific light source by her own - somehow one of the waiters found this fact funny which was really not. All in all the service was not good, there is still a LOT to improve on the...
Read moreI had dinner at Restaurant Bueno with my mother and a friend who came to visit me in the NL for the Easter holidays. The way we were treated by staff was beyond unacceptable. We ordered sangrias that tasted like syrup - no wine to be tasted, only sugar. Upon politely asking the waiter whether it would be possible to exchange the beverages for something else, he replied in an extremely rude manner. Later on, when my mother brought the sangrias back and asked for a couple of beers he became aggressive towards her. She made it clear that we would pay for the syrup-y “sangrias” but that we simply wanted something else. By the time the check arrived we were told that fractioning the 100€ bill (!!) was not possible, which I found hard to believe. All in all, our experience there really ruined our last evening...
