One day before arrival owner called that a mistake was made (he made it appear that it was due to the booking site, but in fact it was he himself who made the mistake) and there was no room for us. This despite a confirmed reservation.||He was not willing to find alternative accommodation. He said that was not possible as every hotel in Valkenburg was full. This turned out to be a lie.||Never had an hotel calling me one day before with a message that there was no room for me in my 40 years of travelling. ||I would advise not to book there if you want to be sure that you have a room. Having a confirmed reservation does not mean anything apparently with this hotel. Very unhelpful, unprofessional staff who dont take responsibility for mistakes they made. A horrible experience. If you have a child, you know how they tell you at the last moment that they need to go to toilet. It just happened to be next to this place. So I asked an espresso at the bar, explaining them I don't need more, I just need to buy something for my son to use the toilet.
