Miso Oriental — Restaurant in Venlo

This was my first time being in the Netherlands and my first time being in a Netherlands buffet, i had a wonderful expirience even tho i couldnt speak their language i could still order on english which was very very helpful

so the food, the Food was wonderful made. The Fish was excellent and very fresh also the clams where good, the rib eye steak was also wonderful (medium rare i think)

the drinks were okay the homemade ice teas are made with syrup since the sweet was heavier than the water so it was staying mostly on the bottom

also the inside of the Restaurant was beautiful with it's trees, beautiful flowers from white to pink. also the place was mostly quiet and didnt felt like a buffet

the waitresses/waitress were very very friendly, they also didnt look like to have a fake mood already like it way more in the netherlands than in germany ^^

Came at late noon on a weekday in order to avoid what you can read in other low-rated reviews. Despite being the only customers for around an hour:

Forgot to bring the dish or very late at least thrice; Staff being hardly visible, inattentive and hard to call; Ordered a dessert, but 30 minutes later (!) telling us they don't have it anymore; Many dishes unnecessarily salty; Easily the worst bibimbap and tori karaage I ever had: bibimbap wasn't savoury in the slightest even without the served sweet soy sauce, and the karaage was very dry and rubbery, not even remotely crunchy. OK the 'tori karaage' at Dadawan in Maastricht/Eindhoven is contender of being even worse, because that's just a bloody schnitzel.

Summary: Do NOT expect any high standards in terms of food and service. Very overrated food and inexperienced staff. Not worth a...

Visited the first time for the toilet, Visited the second time for the food, Dont recommend the toilet, Also dont recommend the food. Poor service, forgot our cutlery (fine, can happen), 0 interest on the customer, you are talked to because they have to, otherwise i feel like you wont even be served at all. We ate in but requested some of our food to be put to take away, we were told to carry the food and bring it ourselves almost to the kitchen... am i suddenly working there? should i help you do the dishes, cook and pack it too?
