Pizza & Pasta Wassenaar — Restaurant in Wassenaar

We ordered 2 takeaway pizzas: Margherita & Pepperoni. Only my son (10) and I had the pepperoni pizza and a few hours later we were violently ill. Vomiting & diarrhea and 24 hours later we are still very ill. It is my firm belief the pepperoni pizza was to blame and while I am sorry to leave a negative review I feel compelled to leave one so the owner/chef can address food safety issues. I'm unsure if the issue was the pepperoni itself, personal hygiene or something else but there is no doubt in my mind we got food poisoning from this...

What a great little place! I wish I’d found it years ago. The restaurant is small and friendly (only 3 tables) so it’s a good idea to prebook. Fresh pizza dough is spun in front of you, the pasta was absolutely lovely. You help yourself to beer or soft drinks and they total them up at the end. The owner Nino is so friendly and can’t do enough for you. If you want authentic Italian cooking then I can’t recommend this place...
