What should I say? It was just perfect. Asian restaurants in the Netherlands are in general just so much better than in Germany. Food tastes pretty much like in the countries where the food is originally from. We went here Friday night shortly after we arrived in Zandvoort. Ordered the spicy Beef Salad as an Appetizer. That one was just the most perfect and authentic taste I ever had far away from Thailand. Absolutely loved it! Even my friend who never had proper Thai food before liked it. She isn't used to eat spicy but did a good job. In case you can't eat spicy please skip this one. For the main courses we ordered the Shrimps which Cashew which aren't spicy at all. I just wanted to make sure my friend will be fine. The taste was on point. The Shrimps were big and perfectly cooked/friend through. Plus we ordered the Penang Curry with Chicken. I personally missed some Veggies and some spicy taste here. (Just because I recently came back from Thailand 🇹🇭) but the taste itself was fantastic too. I really loved the food. Even though it's a bit pricey (paid 80€) it is a very nice place. The owner is such a lovely guy. Plus the decoration is mostly from Thailand/Asia. I really...
Read moreZandvoort is a nice change compared to Scheveningen. A quaint small beach village. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with authentic Thai arts and interior. Gives an nice ambiance for the guests.
Was greeted and attended by the owner. Superb English. Ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and Cashew Chicken. The Chicken Fried Rice was amazing and Cashew Chicken was delicious, it taste like in Bangkok. Cashew Chicken is recommended if you like Thai food that isn't spicy. It has the right balance of spice and sauce. Portions are huge. One dish can easily be shared by 2 people with an add on single portion of rice. The cooking has been slightly westernized but did not lose the Thai flavour. The chef is from Thailand.
Make a reservation as this place tends to get full over dinner. This place is highly recommended if you are looking for an Asian twist...
Read moreAuthentic Thai logistics rollercoaster delivers the goods in the end! This is a small funky place in the beach resort Zandvoort. Although our initial takeaway order was completely mixed up (not a single thing we ordered was there) and required a second drive by to get our order fixed, when it comes to the food, this place puts its money where its mouth is. This is authentic Thai food. The satay is delicious, and the green curry is spicy, but also very tasteful and fragrant. Fried noodles are good, and everything with bold flavors. So where does that leaves you? If you fancy a quick bite with 5 minute service, this is not that place. If you want tasty food, and don't mind a Thai perception of time management, this is definitely a place you need to go and eat. Well...
