Laurel & Hardy — Restaurant in Zandvoort

I have witnessed the worst spectacle I have ever seen in my life. The worst treatment and lack of respect that a tourist can receive in Zandvoort and Holland. A group of filthy drunken old men who always sit on the terrace have tried to improperly touch a girl who is only 16 years old. The establishment instead of removing the man who was disrespectful has removed the group of tourists.

The boys tried to defend their sister and confront the man, which caused them to be kicked out. the local police came and only calmed the situation, revealing the impunity of these events. The abusers were sitting in the establishment and everyone (managers and diners) was laughing at the boy who was trying to defend his sister It was a 16 year old girl!!!!! and the owner cared five in this fact in his premises. This situation leaves much to be desired and to think about the place and this establishment where they forget that foreigners or not are their CUSTOMERS. and everyone deserves respect. Das "Laurel en Hardy" hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einer absoluten "In-Kneipe" im Zentrum von Zandvoort entwickelt. Hier ist immer etwas los und nicht zuletzt der große Anteil an einheimischen Gästen spricht für das Lokal.

Dem Namen entsprechend ist das gesamte Lokal über und über mit Memorabilien der ehemaligen TV-Serie "Dick & Doof" ausgestattet, angefangen mit unzähligen Fotos bis hin zu lebensgroßen Figuren.

Neben zahlreichen Biersorten gibt es leckeren Genever und diverse weitere Getränke, darunter natürlich Wein, Sekt und Longdrinks. Besonders aufgefallen ist mir ein Billardtisch im hinteren Bereich des Lokals, auf dem nicht etwa Pool sondern Karambolage (!) gespielt wird.
