Libanees Restaurant Noya — Restaurant in Zandvoort

My family and I came to this restaurant on a Sunday night (without reservation) and they happily accommodated us with a seat outside.

It is beautifully decorated on the inside and outside, but the FOOD— absolutely delicious.

It’s hard to find good Lebanese food and this place was epic. I can see why it’s so popular. I loved the Kish Kash— lamb with oriental spices. My husband got the beef tenderloin (Tournedos) and my in laws got the two different kinds of chicken entrees (one was a spicy chicken kebab) and one was minced chicken with spices. It came with two bowls of rice— it was a mixture of white rice with bulgar rice? Everything tasted delicious. I ate my entire plate. 😆

We also shared the grape leaves, hummus, and muhummara appetizer (all served with pita)

Also, the staff was super nice and friendly.

I live in Zandvoort and have eaten here five times now, more than any other restaurant in Zandvoort. The ambience is very colorfull yet cosy, and has an authentic feel from interior, to music, to the plates on which the food is served.

The food has been amazing all four times. My favorites are the salads that are exceptionally fresh, healthy and well seasoned. And the delicately spiced and well prepared meat/fish dishes.

What is exceptional for Zandvoort is that both food and drinks have a very good price/quality balance (especially in comparison to the majority of Zandvoorts tourist-focused (€€€) restaurants!).

The starters, main and dessert were very delicious. I was positively surprised with the quality and also the quantity. Portions are well served without being too much. The decoration of the place is traditional of the culture, I like the fact that the owner obviously invested (indoors and outside) in making it a nice place. Staff was friendly, but the food took a while to be served (I think it was a particularly busy day, so ok). They also took us last minute (group of 9) without a reservation, which was quite nice.
