During this lockdown and having discovered a beautiful caramelised fruit balsamic vinegar by Robinvale Estate in Melbourne, I went on the hunt via deliver eat.co.nz to scour through finding flavoured balsamic and came across Gault’s Deli fronted by celebrity chef, Simon Gault. Their website was impressive with a wide range of international offerings including what I was looking for, albeit another Australian brand, Pukara Estate.
I ordered pomegranate balsamic, guava vinegar and truffle oil by Pukara Estate along with some smoked Akaroa salmon as a featured product, and I simply adore these products. These ingredients perfectly fit into my pantry for the type of food I’m cooking during lockdown.
The customer service from Gault’s Deli was remarkable in that I received a personalized voicemail then text to advise of delivery occurring and I received some complementary fresh herbs in my order, which was a well appreciated treat.
During lockdown it’s been important to eat well and healthy so to find this online stockist has been a godsend. Highly recommended with...
Read moreSimon Gault's Deli has become my latest obsession. I have been to two evening cooking classes and a lunchtime demonstration treat. I couldn't be more excited with the quality and affordability of their food and equipment. They even let you sample their oils and vinegars before you buy. Gault's Deli has become a regular destination for shopping for the day to day cheese's, pizza dough and eggs and oils to name a few things. The demonstrations are filled with valuable technical information and useful tips that inspire me to incorporate more of the 'The Good Oil' into my daily meals, just like the Mediterranean diet suggests. Read moreUPDATED 16/05/25 - Bought an 8 pack of dough, 2 bags of mozzarella and 2 jars of Simon's pizza sauce for $52 dollars. This would have been $80-$100 if we ordered a from a franchise. Worth thinking about:
We went to the kids Pizza making session with our Son, and this was a gentle, fascinating lesson for kids that taught me a heck of alot. As a rugby boy and needing balance as he is huge unit, this left us so skilled to better his diet with good ingredients and thanks to honed craftsmanship teaching with good ingedients. Our son perfectly replicated Simon's teaching, telling me I missed a step...and slammed a perfect pizza...to note I have an inflammatory disease and nothing I ate today from his class or my Son's cooking of his pizzas have repeated on me. Happy belly, happy Son, happy family.
Please sign up to a session if they offer again. Just simple, accessible, friendly and a...
