Giant Burger — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

I paid for a gourmet burger but what I got is an over cooked beef patty (super dry and chargrill/Burt) it's hard to swallow nor chewing is a mission. I could have ordered quarter pounder at McDonald and it would been a better option. The fish and chips is another disappointing order. What happend to our standard beer battered fish? I can't believe that for a shop to sell fish and chips will order a pre-made frozen supermarket battered fish, obviously fish is ko longer fresh! The whole experience was horrible, mind you the chips is OK and the l&p in can was cold but the rest was a disaster.

I usually love Giant Burger and it's been my go-to spot for a while. Last night, I ordered two Deluxe Chicken Burgers and two servings of kumara chips. While the burgers were as delicious as always, I was quite disappointed with the chips. They were burnt and, unfortunately, still served to me without offering a replacement. This was a bit of a letdown, as I've come to expect better from this place. I hope they pay more attention to quality control in the future because I really enjoy their food otherwise. Right off the bat, Friendly service and vibe from staff. Taste if the Kiwi Beef is absolutely delicious. The avocado 🥑 makes the burger and everything cooked fresh. Chips are delicious with I think Chicken Salt?
