Khana Indian Eatery — Restaurant in Ōrākei

You MUST try this lovely Indian eatery........We've found the best Indian Restaurant & Take-Aways in Eastern Bays area at last. We ordered a take-away last night, of starters, mains & Peshwaari naan. Every item was totally delicious. Beautifully cooked, really good quality meats, delicate sauces of perfect consistency, generous portions, picked up and was so lovely and kept hot, in environmentally friendly cardboard quality packaging. Plus awesome phone and pick up service - on a night of terrible weather too! We will now be regulars. We highly recommend Khana Meadowbank - and we are really fussy and "experienced Indian food fans". Wish we had discovered Khana's ages ago. ...

My Husband & I went for Dinner at this wonderful restaurant in Meadowbank on Wedneday night last week (St Johns Road) . It was our first time at this place & the service was awesome. Very friendly & helpful manager & staff! The meal was amazing, I think this is the best curry I have had in a while!! I had a medium chicken korma & my husband had a hot lamb vindaloo, the spices they chose were incredibly flavourful & made the dishes so tasty! The garlic naan & the samosas we had were also very lovely.

I very much recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience & amazing food! We will be coming back here again for indian food for sure!...

Delicious. We moved to this neighborhood some time ago now and have been meaning to try. I’m so glad we finally did. We ordered delivery, unfortunately they were short staffed, but they called to keep me updated on delivery progress and gifted a dessert for the inconvenience. I had offered to pick up but they insisted on following through. Wonderful service and good portions. The little round containers are very deceiving! For four adults we ordered two curries, two breads and two starters. We were all stuffed with lunch left over for the next day. Lovely rich, creamy and thick curries. We will definitely be back for more. Thanks...
