Title: A Futuristic Dining Experience with Unparalleled Service at Cobb Rotorua Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Cobb Rotorua, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was captivated by the futuristic ambiance and warm hospitality. This restaurant truly deserves a five-star rating! One of the highlights of my visit was the presence of a robot server. It was an absolute delight to watch this innovative creation skillfully navigate its way through the restaurant, delivering orders to the tables with remarkable precision. This unique feature not only added a touch of novelty but also showcased the establishment's commitment to embracing advanced technology. The robot server made the dining experience truly memorable and was a great conversation starter among fellow diners. What sets Cobb Rotorua apart from other dining establishments is their policy of accommodating guests without reservations. This flexibility is a breath of fresh air, allowing spontaneous visits without the worry of being turned away. The staff efficiently managed the flow of customers, ensuring that everyone was seated promptly and received exceptional service. Speaking of service, I cannot praise the staff enough for their attentiveness and professionalism. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the waitstaff remained friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. They were knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that each guest's dietary preferences and requirements were met. The staff's commitment to ensuring a seamless dining experience was truly commendable. Now, let's talk about the food. Cobb Rotorua offers a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of palates. The dishes are expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. The extensive selection of beverages, including a variety of refreshing cocktails and mocktails, perfectly complemented the meal. The restaurant's sleek and modern interior design creates an inviting atmosphere, making it the ideal place for any occasion. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or colleagues, Cobb Rotorua offers a comfortable and stylish setting that enhances the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Cobb Rotorua is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique and exceptional dining experience. With its robot server, no-reservation policy, impeccable service, and delectable cuisine, this establishment has truly set the bar high. I wholeheartedly recommend Cobb Rotorua and can't wait to return for another extraordinary meal.

The staff were great, very accomodating and constantly alert to our needs. The food is delicious and a great value for money. We had the shrimp cocktail, which was very fresh and made the old school way, the crunchies, which are great to go with drinks before entrees, and the carnivore plate. Meat cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce... I was just about to lick the plate. Drinks are a lot of fun. Had the traffic jam with vodka. Three colour slushie and a bottle of flavour vodka. Again, awesome and great value for money. They also have set menues available for gold card holders and for children at very low prices. They have a family section which creates a good atmosphere for any occasion. You just tell the staff what you're looking for and they find the right place for you. Little extra thing, they have a robot waiter that catches everyone's attention. Fun addition.

I was a Cobb & Co virgin until tonight but sadly I was left incredibly disappointed. First, it’s merits. I won’t take away from Cobb & Co their drinks list were amazing and me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the Sol-arita and Traffic Light Giant Slushies. They are massive, sweet, so tasty and very moreish. Can confirm you won’t taste the alcohol and that’s the dangerous part. However, our good experience basically ended there. To the staff’s credit it was a busy night, however we were not waited on the entire hour and half we waited for our meals. After 20 mins of waiting we flagged down our waitress to ask for kitchen times as we were hoping if the wait was long, we’d order some starters to hold us over. She went to ask the kitchen, forgot about us, then another 10 mins we flagged her down again to ask once more. She eventually came to us to advised us “20 more minutes”. 45 minutes later with still no food, no one coming to ask us if we’d like more drinks or starters or anything, we got up and found the waitress who advises us “5 minutes”. Over this time we have watched many groups come and go and at least one table that came in after us receive their food before us. Every time we saw that little robot come by and pass us, we just feel like we may have been forgotten about (also yes, robot servers bring you you’re food which is pretty darn coo!). Our food does eventually arrive and 3/4 meals are good. The ribs are good size and very saucey. The prawn parmesan sirloin steak was cooked perfect rare and so was the the other steak ordered. However our final steak (ordered Medium Well Done) was so incredible tough it was almost charcoal. Overall we arrived at 7pm and left at 9:10pm with only 20 mins worth of eating time and the rest spent waiting. The frustrating thing, this grumble could have been avoided with some minimal customer service effort on the staff’s end. By end of night we received no sort of apology or compensation for our wait and were just so incredibly disappointed. I don’t want to go as far as saying ‘avoid at all cost’ but I hope this can be a learning moment for the staff on how customer service really goes the mile.

We had just experienced zorbing at OGO and were so hungry for grub we could literally eat anything. We hadn't eaten anything for breakfast since we didn't want to risk getting sick inside the ball and end up vomiting all over the place. So you can imagine how excited I was to try out Cobb & Co. I did not like a single thing that everyone at our table ordered. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, everything just didn't taste right. My roast chicken was overcooked to the point that it fried itself on its own fat. That's right, it came out looking and tasting like fried chicken. The chicken wings also tasted like paper (It's a hyperbole, of course, but you get the point). The lamb shank was delicious, but the serving was appropriate for someone the size of a garden gnome. The mash that it was served was twice as big. The interior, however, was beautiful. If they had another branch somewhere, I would probably give it another go.

We went here thinking it would be a cheaper alternative to the restaurants in Eat Street, was very expensive with sub standard food. Hubby had a shrimp cocktail with what seemed like small frozen prawns drowned in thousand Island dressing. For main the lemon pan fried fish was bland not enjoyable at all. I had the haloumi salad which had massive chunks of carrot & cauliflower which made up the bulk of the 'salad'. The garlic bread even seemed like a frozen undercooked loaf. That was bad enough but even worst was the delivery of food to our table via a Robot, it didn't work I had to find a human to get the bot back from the kitchen and our meals were cold, luke warm at best. We want human service not a bot if we had known this there is no way we would have even entered Cobb & co. We paid more here for below average food & service than what we did at Urban Bistro the previous night (which was fantastic).Do not recommend at all.

The meals were ok not the best for the prices and the decor was terrible, fake cheap plants hanging out of mirrors we aren't in Alice in wonderland we are trying to have a nice meal out after a boring lonely time in quarantine and we were seated net to the grubby kids play area that was filled with loud kids that needed to be separated but we moved and there was a stale chip resting on the table when we sat down and you could see the grub on the menus and the table. My friends donuts smelt horrible and tasted like and old mans sweaty sock after a day playing bowls. the service was great though, but the music didnt match the vibe at the restaurant .And my fork really describes this restaurant bland and a bit bent. i would not go back to this specific restaurant but other Venues are good.
