Harvey's Bakehouse — Restaurant in Canterbury

First time visit to this bakery. Had just stepped inside the door and the staff asked immediately what can I get you.

Would have been nice to be given a moment just to have a look, before being pounced on. Other than that, can't fault their friendly customer service.

The bacon and egg pie (with some sort of tomato sauce) was a nice surprise - tasty and different. Hubby said that the steak and cheese pie he had was nice. The Smokey BBQ & bacon pie was a big hit and was described as 'really yummy' (I want to try this next time).

The lamingtons were the nicest l've had in a really long time (fresh & delicious).

This place is super busy with cars and people all over the place. Now I know their secret in this little gem of a bakery hidden in the burbs!

Pies were a bit pricey for my liking, the mince and cheese pie was okay, not much cheese in mine and the mince wasn't very flavourful. I had a good coffee to go, no complaints there.
