Sometimes all you want is a good steak and dessert, alas this didn't happen. Medium rare steak was well done and tough and the garlic butter had zero garlic. Simple ice cream bar was a disappointment, the containers that the ice cream sauces came in were from another table and half empty, we had to ask for them to be topped up. Raspberry chocolate tart casing tasted like plastic, and we questioned where was the chocolate as it was so bland...a plain custard filling, why not chocolate? The server really didn't want to engage with us at all and not once did he come back to check on our table, we got the impression that he really didn't want to be there. Quite disappointed with the staff,not what i would call welcoming, too busy with their own issues an conversations to realise i was virtually the only person standing at the bar waiting to be served🤔.A smile goes a long way. No table service to see if we would like a drink at the table. Great place to have a feed and a glass or two.

The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to accomodate our wee puppy which we had in tow. We sat outside with a dog bowl of fresh water. (It's the little things that make the difference).

The building was a great venue, very clean and tidy. Obviously well looked after, which speaks volumes to me about the attitudes of the people running it.

The food was great with a good variety of food. Some asain inspired dishes which was nice. We had the twice cooked pork belly and the chicken schnitzel. Both were very tasty and nicely cooked. (Compliments to the chefs).
